Testimonials & Reviews
Your book "My GOP" is a masterpiece and should be read by all true to form Republicans and Conservatives alike from Massachusetts and across the country. It is straight forward, honest, and it gave me a view from the inside of Massachusetts politics I have never seen before. I knew the State House was mess with the Democrat majority but didn't realize it was that bad but I'm glad it's effects have clearly come to light as of recently.
I wish this country would get back to the ways of Reagan as well, even though I was not lucky enough to witness what he did. I consider him along with Goldwater and Buckley to be my conservative "idols."Best of luck,
Ryan Healey
"My GOP" is a powerful message to all Americans and a scathing indictment of the present aura of American politics. It clearly shows the illegal trend from the era of our Founding Fathers to the present system of excessive spending, the acceptance of earmarks and the expansion of the Federal government.

I am 230 pages into your book. Thanks so much for reminding me why I am a conservative in the first place. I was too young to appreciate Reagan's presidency, but I certainly can appreciate his goals, views, and hopes for America in light of the current political climate. I think there are thousands of disillusioned conservatives out there who need to read this, and I agree that it really is time for a united stand behind the principals you discuss. Well done Jeff!

I'm currently about 4 chapters into the book and I love it! I hated to have to put it down to go to bed so that I could get up early for work this morning! This State Committeeman grew up in the 80s and well, a bronze bust of Ronald Reagan sits here upon my desk. I couldn't agree with you more about a need to return to core conservative principles. Thank you for writing the book and I hope it gets into the hands, and before the eyes, of activists of all party affiliations.

Having been asked by Jeff to review the draft of his book was a deep honor for me and I thank my friend for that. While reviewing the book, I was reminded of why I became a Republican in 1968, after years of being reared in a strong union, Democrat family. I too had on occasion lost my way in recent years.
Jeff's primary message of the importance for us as a party and upholding our individual conservative beliefs is repeated time after time, with specific examples of where we have strayed. He ties our successes and failures to many historical political events, and his own personal experiences, as a Massachusetts State Representative, in the bluest of blue states.
This book will be a necessary read for the conservative rebirth and a valuable tool for debate among ourselves, the other side(s) and more importantly within the halls of academia. I wish you great success in carrying this message forward.

Gain some interesting insight from a local politician.Carol Fonseca, East Sandwich
I want to give credit to a man who continues to be like a compass to me. Jeff Perry, who entered the Massachusetts House with me in 2003, has become a best friend and a mentor to me. Jeff is like the North star, whenever I set my course by him I never go astray. His leadership and friendship have helped me solidify what and why I believe. This book will serve as a wake up call to Massachusetts voters that now is the time to get back to the GOP basics.

For the first time since the days of Ray Shamie, Massachusetts finally has an unabashed conservative willing to take on the far-left that has dominated Bay State politics. This is the book the liberal media and Democrats do not want you to read.

It takes a brave man to be openly critical of his own Party. In "My GOP" Jeff Perry is both those things: critical and brave. But his criticism is intended to be constructive; his goal is to remind Republican politicians of their responsibilities and that they are in office at the pleasure of the voters.
He also is attempting to remind voters that, ultimately, they are the ones with power. They have the power to remove from office a politician who they feel is not representing their best interest or whose voting record is contrary to the wishes of his constituents. And it takes a brave man to say: "If you don't think I'm doing my best for you, kick me out."
Never having been an avid student of political history, I found the historical facts about the Republican party and their candidates interesting and enlightening. From the theories of the demise of the Republican-Democrat and Whig parties to Jeff's thoughts about what could have improved the chances of Republican candidates in past and recent national and state elections, "My GOP" offers insight not previously considered by many of us.
