Chapter Seven
It is not just about the income tax rollback and gay marriage!
Today, from issues ranging from taxation to gay marriage, the constitutional right as guaranteed by our forefathers is in serious jeopardy with political strong-arming and special interest influence becoming second nature. Procedural tactics are being used whenever necessary as “an ends justify the means” type of political justification. Generally speaking, I am extremely proud of my GOP’s efforts to honor the rights and will of voters. Staying true to the underlying constitutional principles is something that generally I believe sets Republicans apart from many Democrats today. The more loyal we remain to these values, I believe the more the electorate will come to appreciate our political party.
