Parties change, why don’t people?
Our Founding Fathers understood that for our system of government to endure and not be perverted by special interest groups, there needed to be separations of powers and a system of checks and balances. By distributing the functions of our government among three separate but equal branches, and allowing the people to redress their government when necessary, our Founders have laid out a system that has allowed America to be the most free and prosperous nation in the history of the world.
